I've just upgraded to the latest beta, thus now using SBEM 3.3b rather than 3.2b. When I use a comma in my recommendations, it is converted to a semi colon in the pdf document once updates have been rerun - is this a known issue that can be fixed?

Thanks

The semi-colons replace commas because commas are used as the data delimiter in the file and commas in the name mess up the format of the data.
Sorry!

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to tell my clients I have bad grammar!

Is there any way this issue can be addressed at all - it looks so unprofessional when my recommendations are either incorrectly using semi-colons or when I have to leave out punctuation (in the form of commas) entirely, which often makes longer recommendations either harder to read or it can detract from the emphasis I am trying to make?

It is hoped that we can remove this 'feature' in v2.2 of the software which should coincide with the release of the SBEM3.4.b.
Thanks for reminding us.
Andrew

Still stuck with semi-colons I'm afraid! Can this be addressed soon please?

I thought I'd try a comma again in my recommendations report but see it is still converted to a semi colon. Sorry to go on about this but is it actually possible to fix it? It's been over 2 years now.

Just to let you know that we've now made this change so that commas you enter in the next release of DB will show up as commas in the final report. This should be available in the next week or so.

Thanks for your patience.
