Dear sir,
is it possible to have the possiblility in the program that the heatloss calculation is based on the EN 12831 (Heatloss calculation according EN).
This way the program could be more easily accepted by our clients.
With kind regards,
Liefooghe Jan |

We plan to implement CIBSE heat loss calculations in the medium-term future (later this year, early next year) and as part of this work we may well include an option to comply with EN 12831.
Also, we are currently working on a link to the Italian language Klima Europa software which is compliant with EN 12831.
Regards,

DesignBuilder uses EN 12831 for calculating actual infiltration rates based on a range of input options.
However the main heating sizing calculation is carried out in EnergyPlus and I'm not yet clear whether or not this complies with EN 12831.
