I've run a SBEM calculation on a large hotel. U-values to 2006 limiting values so I have 0.25 for the ground floor. The BRUKL report however, shows a Ua-Calc figure of 0.17.
I've checked my construction tab and only have the one option of 0.25 for ground floor. Exporting the data to a CSV file indicates 0.25 has been used everywhere too.
Is this something to do with how ground floor u-values change based upon the length of exposed perimeter or is it a glitch? |

If you look on the ground floor construction dialog for the construction used for the ground floors in your model, you will probably see that the checkbox "Ground floor U-value corrected as per guidance in BR443" is not checked. If the U-value you have entered is already corrected then check this box. If it is not then the value shown in the BRUKL report will have been corrected in SBEM for edge losses. Hence the difference.
