I am bouncing on some undesired results.
I have done some external cfd study's with Design builder that went well.
This time i imported an gbxml file with multiple buildings and preformed an cfd study to get insight in the wind effects.

I get very high and low pressures as result. ( i adjusted grid detail and calculation methods. After concluding it had to do with the gbxml import i set it up with building blocks manually. I got he same(ish) endresult.

am i overlooking something? I could use some insight about the origin of the error.

K.R.

i added the files ( imported gbxml and pic)

Hi,

Just from looking at the screenshot that you uploaded, it looks as if the domain boundary is too small. For external analyses, the domain boundary should extend well beyond the model boundaries, otherwise the boundary in-flow and out-flow can be effectively blocked by sections of the model. The default boundary extent for an external analysis is derived by applying a factor of three to the model extents in the X and Y dimensions and a factor of 1.8 in the Z dimension.

Regards,

Steve
