XML not created

Hi, I am using DB version 2.3.6.005 SBEM version 3.5.b. I have created a building calculated the EPC, edited the recommendations, all without creating an XML file. When I select update and tick the Produce EPC XML file it runs the calculation but doesn't produce the XML file.

This has worked in the past, has something gone wrong with the software or is it me?

Phil,

Chances are the problem is with missing or incorrectly filled in assessor data, activation code or some such. See if you can find the EPCgen.log file in the SBEM folder and at the bottom you should find a message giving the reason for the problem.

Thanks Andy, Where will I find the SBEM file?

I have checked the assessor details and they are all correct (I lodged a certificate Friday without a problem).

The SBEM folder can be opened by doing the DB menu command "File > Folders > SBEM folder". In there look for EPCgen.log.

Thanks again Andy, couldn't see it for looking!

Its saying that I am not NOS level 4, which I am or accreditd to use the interface, which I am. Checked the CIBSE website and they have removed my level 4 accreditation! I feel a long phone call to CIBSE coming on.

One to remember for future questions.
