Hi, I am running an EPC on a property and whilst the rest of the draft certificate looks as expected (G rating of 155 for a building with night storage and virtually no insulation) I am getting some very strange Benchmarks in the bottom right hand corner:
If Newly Built: 309
If Typical of Existing Stock: 823

Has anyone else had this issue? Can anyone suggest any likely errors or is it a glitch in the latest iSBEM?

Thanks

As these are generated for each building then we'd need to take a look at your dsb file. You can attach it here or (for greater privacy) use the support desk
Regards
Andrew

Hi
I think that my accrediting body should have forwarded you the file (2 and a half storey terraced building) and have told me you have someone looking into it on Monday. Let me know if this is news to you and I'll send it over.

Thanks
Si

We've had a Taunton building from stroma which matches your spec and I await their reply. I would imagine that it would be easier to answer you directly rather than through your accreditation scheme.

Hi Andrew
Just a quick update on this one. My accreditation body have apparently run the building in iSBEM and have not had the same Benchmarking errors, and therefore will not let me lodge the epc in DesignBuilder. Unfortunately they will not release the iSBEM nct file to me to lodge the file myself as they did not inspect the building!

I understand that there is a funding issue with any further BRE updates to the SBEM software, but is there anything that can be done about this?

Any help is appreciated.

Regards

Simon
I took another look at your file since you last posted and identified the problem (which is due to some assumptions being made about your semi-exposed walls). There will be a new release by the end of the week which will fix it.
Thanks for pointing this out.
Regards
Andrew

Simon
Sorry, we had another mod to make this afternoon which we wanted to incorporate in the same 'build'. Hope to have a setup file for you on Monday.
Regards
Andrew

Simon
Look out for release 2.4.2.017 if you don't hear directly from us. If you take a look at the revision history this mod is listed
http://www.designbuilder.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=28&Itemid=43

Regards
Andrew

Thanks. Downloaded last week and EPC lodged with more reasonable looking Benchmarks. Ta.
