Hi,
I would like to model a simple, single zone 'cube' with a body of water inside it. I imagine a component block would suffice, but it needs to show up in the CFD calculation (including heat fluxes). How should I do this?
Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
You can assign a CFD boundary condition to a component block that you have placed at the building block level simply by double-clicking on it (or selecting it in the navigator) and then clicking on the CFD tab on the Model Data panel where you can select a CFD thermal boundary type (temperature, flux) and assign the required value. Component blocks are automatically included in CFD calculations.
Bear in mind that DB CFD cannot currently model any moisture movement from a body of water.
Regards,
Steve |
