Hi
The building I am working on now has a warehouse area open fully to a hip roof at the top. I have drawn the roof and cut a hole through the floor and merged the zones so I now have an occupied roof space as part of the zone. The conventions state that in this scenario the zone height should be from the top of the floor slab to the underside of the soffit/eaves level - not an average room height. In my case my case is 6.5m. The data reflection report though shows this zone height to be 7.85m - which is roughly to the mid point of the roof from ground level.
Can I just check, does designbuilder not calculate the zone heights automatically, or in this instance we should be overriding the zone height manually under the zone activities tab ?
Many thanks

DesignBuilder does a volume / floor area calculation, so if zone height does not match the result of this you need to overide the value.
