Hi
I've drawn two adjoining blocks but they haven't formed an interblock partition, I'm sure it's because they haven't perfectly snapped together which I have tried to do. I wanted the adjoining interblock partition to act as a virtual partition. If I draw corresponding holes in each side of the blocks and don't merge the zones will this act as a virtual partition.
thanks |

Best way is to set the thermal mass of the inter-block partition to zero. That way (assuming all zones adjacent to it are conditioned) there will be no thermal interaction with the wall. Your idea is sound but there is always some wall remaining when you draw a hole in the wall.
You'll need to make sure they do snap properly though.
