Hi Team,
I've attempted to simulate the "Industry_Room" a couple of times in the attached model. I've tried different grid resolutions, etc, but each time I've received the message "Error in adjusted calculated options - please send model to DesignBuilder support".
Not exactly sure what's going on here but you can see from the attached figure that after seemingly convergingly quite well, there is a large spike in the residuals and the results are useless.
Any thoughts on the cause of the problem? Have I specified an incorrect setting or parameter somewhere?
I'm using v3.0.0.063. Should I revert back to the release version instead of the beta?

Hi,
The reason that you see this Error in adjusted calculated options... message is because the solution has become extermely unstable causing the calculation to fail. The reason for this instability is probably due to the acute discharge angles that have been specified for the floor mounted diffusers. If it is acceptable to specify a normal discharge vector (0.0 discharge angles), which I think should be, given the location of the diffusers and the discharge velocities, you should find that the solution converges well.
Hope this is of help,
Regards,
Steve

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the help. Not sure why I inserted acute discharge angles! But after setting normal discharge vector the solution did indeed converge.
Thanks
Matt
