Hello dear DB users,
is there a way of finding surface temperatures with CFD analyses instead of importing them to CFD analyses as boundry conditions?
How can I define a slice that intersects the surface of a partition in Design Builder? or is it possible to define such a slice?
Thank you so much with best regards |

Hi,
CFD domain boundary surface temperatures must either be entered manually or imported from the results of an EnergyPlus simulation.
Currently, you can only obtain slices along the major X, Y and Z axes. If the partition is not aligned with one of the major axes, the only way you could obtain a slice along the centre-line of the partition would be to first rotate the block so that the partition does align with the X or Y axis.
Regards,
