Here you seem to be down at surface level but slope is managed at block level.
Click on a pitched roof block then on Model Options and change its type, slope, etc in the Block tab. |

Yes, it will better run if you set by your own a scheduled ventilation in your chimney. Natural ventilation won't give you enough air change (have a look to the Help about this limitation).
