Hi laurent,

I managed to replace the external ventilation outside air flow rate by earth tube ventilation in energy plus. Is it possible to combine the earth tube with ventilation heat recovery?

Thanks Laurent,
it should be interesting then to have the possibility to change a building block to a component block.

Thanks,
I modelled the wings as separate buildings and the fact that there is no heat transfer between them is no problem. The problem now is that I have the impression that surfaces adjacent to oth ...

Hello,
I'm modelling a large building that consist of several 3-storey wings connected by a circulation corridor. I modelled it as one large building, and now the problem is to show results of one w ...

Hi,
in DB calculated natural ventilation is a cooling mechanism and only operates when the inside temperature exceeds the setpoint temperature. How do I model in the simulation that even when there ...

I draw the windows from top to floor inside the zone. Then DB has an error but the E+ error message is empty.
When the window is 5cm smaller there is no problem modelling.

Hi,
I had an error in cooling design due to modelling a continous window over three floors.
I modelled the windows floor-to-ceiling but apparently this is not working, when I make the windows a bit ...

Thank you,
I think the difference is due to the fact the coating on the outermost pane is modelled on the outside (side1). In Window5 there is a possibility to flip the pane to have the coating on t ...

Hello,
I'm modelling a building with glazing I selected from the DB database (outerpane SGG Climaplus Cool-lite KN155 and innerpane SGG Planilux separated with Argon 16mm).
The calculated SGGC and l ...
