Hi,
I'm having the same problem with the latest beta release. When I simulate a whole year (just occupied periods), the interval "6-distribution" gives only one single temperature bin of 20°C. I'v ... |

Hi,
No further investigation needed. I figured out that at surface level, the partial ground adjacency is clearly visible.
It just doesn't display what I expect at zone level, but I'm convinced ... |

Hi,
I'm trying to simulate a building with an inclined ground slope. I followed the instructions given in the online help (topic = ground modelling). But when I take a look at zone level, a surface ... |

Hi,
I'm using the latest DB-release (1.5.0.058) and I see very strange things happen: when trying to adapt an existing wall template, the details of the used walls don't appear. Instead there's som ... |

Thanks for the quick reply,
Now it's clear why the shading was acting "strange".
But I think it would be a great feature if the shading control could be met by operative temperature. Maybe an i ... |

Hi DB,
I'm having quite a strange problem, I've put window shading controlled by inside air temperature and solar gains almost remain the same (as a variant without shading). Still the inside air t ... |

Hi Andy,
I have completed a simulation of an office building and get strange results for the fans energy consumption.
If I compare the DB results with manual calulation I get a 4-5 error factor.

Hi,
I'm using version 1.4.0.048. A model with an atrium space generates unexpected air changes.
Used parameters: Unitary single zone, mech vent by zone (1.3 ac/h in offices), ventilation schedu ... |

Dear Arturo,
Due to confidenciality reasons, we don't post files on the forum. I'm sorry.
Let's hope DB finds a reason for those strange results!
Bye,

Hi there,
Simulating an atrium (but no roof glazing) created by a horizontal hole, we've encountered something strange. Taking a look at the simulation results on the ground floor, we have consider ... |

Ye I do see that graph.
But e.g. when I define natural instead of mechanical ventilation, I get that air change graph + in the 'Zone heat balance' "Ex nat vent" is shown.
When using ... |

Hey,
"The zone heat balance" shows all fabric heat gains/losses, but suprisingly not all the ventilation heat losses; it only goes from "Glazing" to "External infiltration".

Maximum heating power for a zone:
'Building model options' -> 'Data' tab and in the HVAC tab u can set 'Autosize' to 'Manual'.
Hopefully this helps. |
