I'm hoping to use CFD to inform energyplus stack temperatures for more realistic airnet simulations.

It is not clear whether your CFD implementation can just take into account conditions set by the ...

Also,

one big problem with the current implementation is that you are only given the choice to check-off components on export, not import. But at export you don't know what is in your library. On i ...

Laurent,

This used to be a one step easy process to save components to the library. Could that feature be added back. This is a very round-about way to do what should be a 1-click "save to library" ...

The manual says that you can snap to the z-axis while ina x-y plane. But I can't get DB to do it even with z-axis spans checked.

What is the secret? Is there a force z-axis key? (maybe there should ...

I've tried to figure out the flat component blocks to no avail?

How do you make a flat block?

Andy,

If you set the window slider to 0%, to get rid of automatically generated windows, Then draw your windows. That is when you get the problem. The reveal will be the same number 0.608e-2 no mat ...

The window reveals is DB only works if using the window percentage slider. Reveals don't change in the IDF if windows are hand drawn.

In all cases reveals don't render accurately in the 'visualize ...

Designbuilder requires subdividing blocks to build 'complex' geometries. Unfortunately, DB doesn't allow 3D cutting (not just 2D planer) or Push/pull of partial surfaces to make 'complex' blocks witho ...
