Yes you can model embodied carbin using DesignBuilder, though you'll need to use a beta test version to see the full interface. We expect to release v3.0.0.109 beta later today and this will allow embodied carbon outputs. to see these click on the Cost/Carbon tab at the bottom of the screen.
On the input side, embodied carbon data is associated with construction materials and glazing systems, but there are no optons to enter glass carbon data. The follwowing defaults are assumed:
GlassEmbodiedCO2 = 0.85 ' Embodied CO2 (kgCO2/kg)
GlassEmbodiedCO2E = 0.9 ' Equivalent Embodied CO2 (kgCO2/kg)

|
|
I've just downloaded your current beta release ver 3.0.0.115, but when i click on the Cost/Carbon tab at the bottom of the screen, there is no cost and embodied carbon data showed. When i try to export to csv file there's nothing happen too.
Is there any solution to this problem? or Is there any solution to view the result of embodied carbon data?
Thanks. |
