Hi,
am I being completely blind?
I can't seem to find a way to model variable speed drive fans for FCU systems?
There's a VSD Pumps setting, but not fans.
Is this the same thing in SBEM terms?
The building I'm modelling has VSD fans, but not pumps!
Best

I checked both DesignBuilder and iSBEM and neither have incorporated variable speed fans. I also checked the SBEM dictionary which lists all the input data parameters available in sbem and there is no means to specify variable speed fans. It does indeed seem like an oversight. Little we can do about that I'm afraid other than ask if bre have any plans to introduce them. I'll make a point to check that we have this functionality in our level 5 software.
Regards

Thanks Andrew,
yes, it does indeed look like an oversight for SBEM, especially since I spend a lot of time recommending VSD drives for level 4 projects.
BTW, on a separate note, I'm looking for a new mouse and have looked at 3D modelling controllers that enable 3D movement similar to using the 'Dynamic Orbit' button in Design Builder.
Do you know if this type of controller can work with Design Builder?
Best
