|
|
Hi!
I have modeled 2 diferent buildings in the same model (site).
I'm not able to simulate the two buildings in the same simulation process, so it's not possible to save the simulation results of the two buildings in the same file!!.
I think it could be interesting this option because at now, I need two simulation nights for simulate the buildings, and I need two files for saving results.
regards,
jose |

Hi Jose,
Although you need to simulate each building separately, the results for each building are stored in the same file, so you should not need to use two separate files.

Jose,
I should also point out that by default, buildings on the same site will actively shade other buildings which will obviously have an effect on solar calculations. However, you can switch this facility off by unchecking the 'Include all buildings in shading calcs' option under the 'Solar' heading on the 'Simulation' tab of the Model Options dialogue box (you can also access this option from the calculation dialogue box).

Thanks Steve,
Yes, I tried and I can save the results of the two buildings in the same file, but I think it could be interesting the option of selecting (in the simulation tab) which building/buildings I want to simulate at the same time.

We plan to introduce the option for 'batch simulations' in version 2.
