Dear sir,

I have some remarks concerning the drawing methods which might be interesting.

1) Stretching a block surface is easy. But when you have made windows in that surface, you loose all windows. It might be usefull to keep those windows.

An other stretching problem is when you have an L-shaped block. It is not possible to bring the L-shape form back to a rectangle. You always keep the thickness of the wall. Offcourse, you can cut off the part to get the rectangle shape.

2) Snap points have been a problem in previous versions. It has improved a lot. But still a problem forexample is moving a building and snap it onto an other building. That isn't possible.

These points might be helpfull to bring into the next versions of designbuilder.

If you change the shape of a block by stretching it or dragging a surface, custom openings are only retained for surfaces that don't change their relative position. If you want to retain custom openings for surfaces that will change their position, you can make a temporary copy of the block before making the edit and then after the edit, copy openings from the temporary block to the edited block at the building level - please see the following Help topic for details of editing openings at the building level:

The 'drag face' tool is currently limited in that it will not allow additional edges or surfaces to be created. However, we are planning to extend the capabilities of this tool in the not too distant future.

We are planning to enable this feature in version 2.0.
