DesignBuilder Help indicates that inner and outer surface property, calulated in construction components, just are used within DBSim and BRE-3TC. What is the diference between this calculated values and the EnergyPlus ones? Is it not possible than DB uses the E+ method in order to visualize the values assumed in regular simulations?

DesignBuilder cannot display inner and outer surface properties for EnergyPlus because these change dynamically as the simulation progresses according to internal air temperature, surface temperature, wind speed etc etc.

We will be providing more options for fixed convective surface heat transfer coefficients in the future.
