How does DesignBuilder consider the intersection of the external wall and the internal floor slab? I have drawn 3 possibilities. Is it possible to choose a possibility?

I have a similar question.
from a earlier post, DB support implied that designbuilder assumes a balloon framed structure (option #2 above) - meaning that the walls are considered continuous through the edge of the floor.
(see http://www.designbuilder.co.uk/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,25/page,viewtopic/t,1023/highlight,floor+exterior/)
However, I just built a very simple model with 2 square blocks stacked (two story building). When I export a csv file, I get something strange. The top block floor, lists 2 different floor objects one floor element adjacent to the zone below, and another small object adjacent to the outside. The two floors are directly stacked, so there is no overlap to cause an "external floor".
What is this floor element that is adjacent to the outside?

| We haven't heard back from support on this topic. Any thoughts?

John,
The upper floor may not be sitting exactly on the top. You can check the area of floor which is adjacent to outside. Alternatively you can upload your file.
thanks
