Can anybody expand on what is meant by the SBEM HVAC system type "Central Heating using air distribution"? This seems a very vague catagorisation.
In particular:
Does this only mean the 'supply only' domestic style system?
Does this include all mechanical ventilation systems that do not have cooling?
My current problems is how to specify a direct gas fired AHU heating system?
Simon
I realise this reply is going to be too late for your needs. I believe the term applies to any heating only system where the heat is generated and transferred to the air centrally to then be distributed around the building. The Heating/Cooling systems do not allow you to take out the cooling system and no other heating only system would apply to such a design.
