The problems of building model

Hi,
Currently, modeling a 10 story office building.
I want to change wall of building from basic brick wall into curtain wall.
So there three phase, building and floor and zone.
If i want to change the building construction character, which phase should i change?
Generally, when i changed wall or opening of building at the building or floor phase, wall and opening character doesn't change.
So i wonder which phase should i change.

Hi,
If your whole building has the same construction, you should change your wall construction to curtain wall at BUILDING LEVEL.. The reason you may not see the construction changing at zone level when you are changing the template at building level is that you may have previously changed the construction at construction at Block or zone level. Try tech following:

1. At Building level - Go to Construction tab
2. Use Clear to Default [The Eraser Tool on the Tool bar - Next to Building Model option] to clear the construction data
3. Select All data on current tab
4. Select Clear Down to Surface level (this will make sure data upto surface level are cleared)..

Now the template at building level should be applied to all the zones/surfaces.. Let us know it it does not help..
