Hi!!

How can I simulate a building that it's situated between another buildings that I don't know if there are climatization?

Should I create a very big building and inside this create my building wich I want to analise? Or there are another options...., because when I create my building all the walls becomes exterior and with windows!!

Thank you very much!!

Hi xavimarondo,

1. It is not possible in DB to draw a building inside another one.
2. Your building is created with windows because of the external windows layout (openings tab). If you want to generate external walls without windows you can assign the no glazing layout. Anyway, it is possible to delete every layout window.

About the issue you are posing, one option is to define every surface adjacent to other building as adiabatic, assuming that this building has reasonably similar internal conditions. Generally, you can set this condition in two ways:

a. Going to each adjacent surface and defining it as adiabatic (construction tab > construction > adjacency).

b. Drawing adiabatic component blocks (the other buildings) in contact with external surfaces of your building. If adjacency of these surfaces is set as 1.Auto, DB will consider automatically adiabatic condition.

Please take a look into this previous topic:

and into these program help topics:

Arturo
