|
|
Dear Sir,
I am now simulating a two storeys building, and I have a staircase connects between the storey. I draw a hole on the ceiling and assume this as the staircase. In my simulation, how do I know (proof) that there is interaction between these 2 storey?
Because I set up different temperature setting and activities schedules for each storey.
Thanks,
Rahmi |

Hi Rahmi,
You can modify your .idf file and run the simulation in energyplus to get the output of airflow through holes etc.
I refer you here to an earlier discussion on the subject of airflow through holes where I posted some details of which report variables you will need.

Hopefully it all makes sense. If not, reply here and I'll see what I can do to help.
All the best,
Andrew |
