|
|
HiDear sir:
I am now doing a research about building energy consumption estimate and intent to use designbuilder be my simulation tool.
But after I build my model in designbuilder then export .idf file to check the building geometry. When I use EP Launch panel tools to check both of the in.idf and .dxf fileI found some problem there:
Question1.Construction material definition in .idf file
After checked the in.idf file by IDF editor,I found that all air materials which belongs to wallscellings and floors construction layer to be definted as Material:REGULAR-R.but I think it should be definted as Material:Air,am i right?(see picture1)
Question2.Building geometry definition in .idf file
All compoments(the eaves of a house)to be defined as Surface:shading:Detached building, but I think them should be definted as Surface:shading:Detached:Fixed, or Surface:Shading Attached.
will it effect correctness of the simulation result?(see picture2)
Question 3.Building grometry uncorrcet shows in .dxf file (see picture3)
As the enclosure of picture4,it looks everything fine shows in the designbuilder, all compoment blocks and some building blocks for example the label(1).(2).(3)(4)of picture4 were perfectly connect to each other.
But picture5 shows very different reslut in .dxf file which generated by designbuilder. All blocks have a little abstracted,is that a bug or effect correctness of the simulation result?
could you give me a hand to reslove my confuse,i will very appreciate, thanks again.
