Refrigeration Gains

Hi,

I have a supermarket building, and in the ground floor i have the public zone, and i don't know how to simulate the cold that come from the fridges witch have the doors opened.
I cannot use a "fraction lost" valeu because part of the refrigeration equipment it's on another floor. I have the compressors and condensing unit in the secound floor (heat gain source) and the evaporation unit (cold gain source) on the ground floor with a cooling capacity of 19,6kW. How can i simulate the cold gains in the ground floor. I cannot subtract the gains from the rest of the equipment because in that case i will take power consumption from this.

You may want to look at the EnergyPlus documentation on "refrigerated cases". If you decide to use those, you will most likely have to export your DB file into IDF and work singly with them. (I don't think DB supports refrigerated cases directly).
