run-time error 339 when loading

Hi,

I've just downloaded the evaluation of Design Builder but when I installed it and try and run the program it comes up with ...

Run-time error'339' Component 'shdocvw.dll' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

I've tried versions 1.2.2 and the 1.4 beta, both give the same error.

Any help would be appreciated

Paul,

We did see this error once before and from memory I think it may be related to not having adequate rights on the computer. Do you already have admin rights on your computer? If not, try running DesignBuilder with admin rights.

Which operating system are you using?

I'm using XP Pro with SP2, I'm logged in as admin but I think it must be something on this computer though as it works fine on another machine, which is annoying because it means i now have to find whats wrong on my machine Confused

Hi,

It seems that the same problem happens to me.
I've just installed DB v.1.5.0.028, and I can't launch it. I've also tried v.1.5.0.076 with no better results.

Here is the message I get:

I am using a laptop with windows XP pro, version 2002, Service Pack 3 and I have administrator rights.

Unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to get another computer. So if you could help me fix the problem I would highly appreciate.
