EN 15265:2007 Weather Data File ...

Hello.

We like to verify the procedures to compute the annual energy needed for space heating and cooling accordingly with the European Standard EN 15265:2007.

In order to run the same EN example we need the Weather Data File of the same place (Trappes, France [49°N, 2°E]). Can anyone tell us where to find this Weather Data File ??? (I already search in the DsB and EnergyPlus WebPages)

Hello,

This file is not freely distributed so you have only an alternative : buy data or used another source (ie from another software) to generate a EnergyPlus file.

For the second case, you can copy/paste a Paris Orly file then convert it in CSV, copy data columns from the other source, save it and convert it back to epw (EnergyPlus format).

When using your favorite spreadsheet software take care to change the Windows regional option to English so the date and decimal delimiter stay the same. If not the weather converter will crash. EnergyPlus developpers have not yet internationalized it.
