exported IDF model

When constructing a rectangular model using "Rectangle" shape perimeter tool, and after exporting the IDF-file, the DXF-Viewer shows the normals of the surfaces correctly; the roof is displayed fully hatched.

But when constructing another model with more than 4 corners using "Polygon" shape perimeter tool, the DXF-Viewer displays the wall as a single layer at the middle of its thickness and the roof is displayed as a border and not fully hatched.

Is there something wrong I'm doing? or this is a normal error?
Could someone help me please

This looks like a glitch in the EnergyPlus dxf output generation. I believe that older versions of E+ couldn't always generate complex 'filled' dxf polygons, but that more recent ones do. Are you using DB v.1.5? I would expect this combined with the default E+ v.2.2 to generate correct dxf output.

Yes, I'm using DB v1.5 and E+ v2.2
Does that only a glitch in the dxf output generation? and doesn't affect the simulation results in E+ (as if there is no roof or surfaces are inverted)?

Yes, that's right, it's only a glitch in the DXF generation, simulation results will not be affected.
