|
|
hello,
i'm trying to simulate a double facade with calculated natural ventilation. I would like to avoid temperature control of natural ventilation so I set a the Ventilation cooling setpoint temperature to 0°C.
What happens now is that during the winter period the temperature decreases below 0°C and the natural ventilation stops. In my case this is technically not possible and so i wonder if is it possible to switch off this regulation to have a totally passive facade all over the year?
Thanks al lot,
Thomas. |

Hi Thomas!
I think that in your case, itīs easier to think about a simple facade, regarding only the internal wall face, īcause you donīt have any problem with seasonal ventilation, so you must regard only the face that works...I answer you as the theory...
Bye!

Hello Teresa,
thanks for your answer. Thatīs a way that should work, but Iīm afraid I have to simulate the double facade to evaluate the impact of the double facade on the evolving temperature in the gap between the two skins.
I think the only solution is to reduce the natural ventilation cooling setpoint temperature beneath 0°C. So I would like to fix this value to say -20°C to avoid any active temperature control. But the scale only allows a minimum cooling setpoint of 0°C. Is it possible to enlarge this scale manually? |

Thomas,
You can do that by deactivating Use slider controls, in Program options > Interface > Interface style. Then you will be able to input the values manually.
