In a recent model, there was one large space (a covered street) bounded by smaller spaces, all contained within a single block.
The interface between the covered street needed to be insulated, whilst the partitioning between the smaller bounding spaces did not.
I drilled down to zone level in the covered street and changed the partition type to "insulated". Should this effect the same change when the partition was viewed from the other side (i.e. from a bounding space)? Because it doesn't in my model.
It seems that I will have to drill down into every partition from the bounding space side to make the change to insulated from both sides. Am I missing something?
Thanks for reporting this. This is actually a bug - if you change a partition construction at the zone level then the partition construction of the appropriate surfaces in all adjacent zones should be automatically assigned the same construction. We have now fixed this bug and the fix will be available in the next version (all versions after 1.6.4.003).
