I have modeled a three-stories building. And I want F1-atrium merge to F2-atrium. But when I tried to add a big hole on the ceiling of F1-atirum by tracing the outline of the ceiling, it always failed. The shape of the atrium is complicated, I doubt if it is a cause. I have attached the model file, would you please try and tell me why. Thank you in advance.

When you save a project in DesignBuilder, it's saved to a .DSB file. When you start DB you'll see a list of recent files (.DSB files) together with the folders where they're stored so you should be able to locate your project file from that list.

The reason you're getting this problem is to do with the way the model has been put together. If you go to the floor entry for the F2-atrium zone in the navigator, you will see that the floor is not just adjacent to the F1-atrium zone but there are a number of other very small adjacency areas listed due to slight mis-alignment of block perimeters and/or partition edges between the F1 and F2 blocks. When you draw a hole around the perimeter of the floor, it's actually overlapping these small adjacencies which isn't allowed. The easiest way of resolving this problem is to draw the hole with a very small offset from the perimeter and you could use construction lines to help do this.
