Is it possible the modelling of a fancoil + primary air plant with DB? (2 or 4 pipes water distribution)

We're starting the development of an HVAC interface which will enable the explicit modelling of all kinds of HVAC system including fan-coil. Currently DB can only model HVAC systems using a simple approach based on the EnergyPlus PURCHASED AIR mechanism. You can of course use DB to model the building and then edit the resulting .IDF file to include an explicit E+ description of whatever HVAC system you need.

I should have mentioned that DB also incorporates an interface to the E+ compact HVAC mechanism as an alternative to the simpler purchased air approach. DB compact HVAC currently enables you to model single and multi-zone unitary systems and VAV.

We will be providing a full interface to the EnergyPlus Compact HVAC fan coil systems including 2 or 4 pipe, with or without outside air delivery in a near future release.
