I am trying to join a number of block together without any luck, it is possibly a simple problem to solve, but the more I look at the model, the more I am getting frustrated.

Any help appreciated.

Regards,
Stephen.

Once you have produced one block then subsequent blocks which also lie on the ground plane are easiest produced by drawing the perimeter vertically and then extruding. This means that you can lock onto a face of the block you have already drawn. If you are in add block mode then as you hover over an existing block the faces will be highlighted. By pressing the shift key and holding it down you lock onto the surface you are currently over. Once you have clicked on one corner then all subsequent corners will be locked onto that face. You can snap when drawing horizontally but you need to press shift whilst away from the block you have created (if putting the block on the ground) and again hold until the first click which should be at a snap point on the block already created. Use orbit to spin around as a quick check. If you have already created the blocks but they are not adjacent then use the 'move selected object' from the top toolbar you will need to move a corner which should be on the shared face. During training we put a lot of focus on adjacency.
Regards
Andrew
