Hello Andy,

A simple question, is it possible to add a new texture ?
If yes, what is required for the picture and where do I have to save it ?

Thank you.

Laurent

Hello Laurent,

It is not yet possible to add custom textures in DesignBuilder, but it is on our 'new feature development list'.

... also, if you have a texture you would like to include in the DesignBuilder database (and there is no distribution licence fee) please feel free to send it to me and I will include it in a future release.

It's only cosmetic ! To have my visualisation more accurate.
In Paris we add typical hausmannian building made of a limestone.
I'm modelising two buildings now and (I hope) 4 more at the beginning of 2007.

If it is possible, I can take picture of a wall
but you may want a specif format.
When you have two minutes tell what king of file,
surface of wall you prefere.

Regards,
Laurent

I am using last beta and I load a custom texture. However it does not show in Visualization screen (it shows white coloured).
Any suggestion on the procedure or limitaions on image format (I have tried both jpeg and bmp formats).

Well it is still in beta. Maybe they will further develop it to remove the glitches.

Custom texture has been a very useful addition, only they're not working that well.

Thanks in advance.
