Hello again
What means and what's the impact of temperature control (Air temp, operationnal temp, other) new field in the Simulation options ?
Best regards,

Hello Laurent,
The temperature control is the radiant fraction of the thermostat controlling the heating/cooling system.
So if you select 1-Air temperature it is the air temperature that is controlled to the heating setpoint temperature on the activity tab.
If you select 2-Operative temperature then you will find the operative temperature is controlled to the setpoint.
Real thermostats generally sense air more strongly than radiant temperatures but operative temperature control is a useful way to ensure that the building thermal model maintains comfort conditions during the occupied period.
The temperature setpoints on the activity tab generally represent operative temperatures.
Regards,
Andy |
