Greetings
I tried to install the 30 day trial lastest version and in the middle it appears the following error:
Run-time error `429`
ActiveX component cant create object
Im using Windows Vista Home edition
Please help

Please uninstall DB (if previous installation ever completed). Then reboot the computer and without any other applications open, download again and reinstall. It may help to temporarily disable anti-virus software before installation.

I followed your instructions but is still giving the same error.
I installed directx 10 and i still cant install the program.
Nobody else has ever got this error before?

Do you have admin rights on the computer? You will need this to install DesignBuilder and most other software.

thank you
I have administrator rights.
I tried several solutions that i googled but i just cant install Design builder.
It always appear error 429.
I was thinking to buy the program and i was excited to learn it and use it, but i cant take the risk of buying it without sure if i can even install it....

Could you post as attachments the installation diagnostics file(s), which should be in the folder
C:\Users\\AppData\Local\

Where do I find those diagnostic files?
As you can see , thats the error message that appears when I launch Designbuilder

I wonder if DesignBuilder is have a problem with the non-English characters in the path name. It may be worth trying with a different account with only standard ascii characters.
