|
|
Hi!
I was wondering if anyone knows how to model a Packaged VAV system in Design Builder. It seems that if I select the Compact Type as 3-VAV then it automatically assumes there is a chilled water coil. Is there a way to model a DX system with VAV terminal units?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks. |

The latest v3.0.0.064 detailed HVAC mode supports DX cooling coils in VAV AHUs which hopefully will allow you to model the system you describe. DX heating coils are not allowed in VAV AHUs though.

You'll need the latest DB v3.0.0.064 and a license for the Detailed HVAC module. The option can be selected from the Model options dialog under HVAC.
