Trying to do a simulation looking at comfort. I'm having 2 problems.
1. I can figure out how to make a setpoint schedule for natural ventilation. In the summer I want to night vent down to 64 F, but in the spring/Fall I want to vent to only 72 F, as to not lose daytime solar gains. How can I do this?
2. The other problem I have is during nighttime heat setback, my comfort index is terrible, even though occupants would be under an additional layer of bedding. For dwellings, apartments, etc we need the ability to set a nighttime Clo value or Clo schedule to make the comfort models useful. |

You would have to edit IDF data to model both 1 and 2.
1. Edit the 'Vent Temperature Schedule'
2. Edit the 'Clothing Schedule'.
1. Time varying vent setpoints is on the is already on the development list for v.2. and I'll add the ability to set a specific clothing schedule.

| I noticed the "include IDF file" field in the simulation settings. Can this be used to inject features not available in DB? Is it viable to use this were it has to interact with a DB defined component? |

| Yes you can use "Include IDF file" to add data to the IDF file and change the simulation. You can't remove IDF data automatically though so there limitations on what you can do with it. The option works well for requesting additional reports. |
