We are trying to introduce an AIR freecooling, this is, the ventilation rate changes in every zone depending on the indoor/outdoor conditions.
We thought that the "economiser type" into the "section economiser lockout" (which you can configure controlled by temperature or enthalpy) was the solution, but checking the results, we see that the ventilation airflow keeps depending only on the occupation -.
Has somebody idea about how to configure the air freecooling?
explaining data input for economisers. You need to set the upper and lower temperatures that define economisor operation. Then during the simulation the HVAC system will use outside air whenever this is beneficial and the temperature conditions are met.
You can see when the economisor is operating by looking at the outside fresh air delivery rate (it will tend to go up much higher than the minimum fresh air requested).
If this does not answer your question then I'd suggest you post an example model to illustrate the problem.
