hello DB team,
on your homepage is written, that in april a new version with the cfd-tool is avaiable. in the suppport forum i have read, that within this version there should also be some new features like concrete core activation available. now i'm using the 30 days trial version but we are are thinking about buying the license. but this is only relevant to us with the mentioned features. so can you tell me when all this is available.
greetings
max

Max,

The first beta test versions of DesignBuilder CFD will now appear some time between April and June with the full version 2.0 release coming at the end of the summer. It is doubtful that you will be able to use DesignBuilder CFD for 'concrete core activation'.

You may find though that you can carry out approximate analysis of air flow through concrete slabs (provided you can find appropriate convective heat transfer coefficients) by modelling the hollow concrete as plenum zone and setting the wall types to concrete.

hello andy,
it wasn't my intention to use the cfd tool with concrete core activation. i just wanted to now when i can use these features independent from each other.
but thank you for the information.
