hello everybody,
can somebody tell me what exactly has effect on the zone/sys. sensible heating and what has effect on zone heating? i mean how is zone/sys sensible heating and zone heating calculated in DB? i have a simulation of an office room. it's just one zone. the two values are different and i want to know what relation they have?
thank you
max

Hi max,
I don't know this would be helpful or not.In the help file of DB, it says,
'Zone/Sys Sensible Heating' - is the sensible heating effect of any air introduced into the zone through the HVAC system including any 'free heating' due to introduction of relatively warm outside air and the heating effects of fans. It is therefore not the same as a heating coil energy delivery when mechanical ventilation is involved. It is best thought of as the HVAC heating contribution to the zone heat balance.
And 'zone heating' as I know is that ,making the balance of the total heat loss in the zone as to maitain the temperature set points. It is easy to know the 'two' are different.
All the best,
