Hi,
I am unclear on how Design Builder deals with the construction of common walls between two blocks (and cannot clarify this with any of the help topics).
Where a building consists of two blocks, the joining wall is an interblock partition. However, where is the best place to define the construction? The help topic states that the surface appears twice in the navigator menu (once for each block) but that it is essentially one wall. So which construction is dominant?
When I choose my constructions and then view them in the Visualisation, the colours do not match. Is this a problem with the Visualisation engine or with the construction?
The construction I need to represent is a concrete tilt up wall with an airgap and lined with plasterboard on one side. The wall type is an inter-block partition.
The construction used for inter-block partitions can be set at the surface level and you notice if you do this that the setting is also made for the other equivalent surface.
if all inter-block partitions in the building have the same construction then make the setting once only at the building level.

The visualisation currently only uses material textures not colours, but perhaps that is what you meant. If the above info does not explain it could you send the model stating which surface you think is being displayed incorrectly in the Visualisation screen?
