I am currently evaluating the software and I wanted to find out where I can download some construction templates to suit US construction, Or do I need to make the template myself to suit my requirements? Is there a site to download current international energy code requirements to add to the templates?

If you check "Show Other Region Data" under Tools/Program Option/International Tab ON, you can find 35 walls and 19 roof constructions from the ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals. You can use these constructions as a starting point and then modify as per your needs.
