Is there any way I can simulate pressure testing of a building to 50Pa? This would help me get a feel for which crack sizing I should use for my dwelling if e.g. I'm assuming the build quality will achieve 4ac/hr at 50Pa.
I've had a look in the manual and it looks as though this might be possible by fiddling with the wind pressure table. Has anyone tried this? It would be a useful check of the model.
I don't want to use the scheduled air changes (where the easy rule of thumb is Xac/hr @ 50pa = X/20 ac/hr normally) because I want to model windows opening for summer cooling.
You can't do that in DesignBuilder by now. May be is there a solution with EnergyPlus (something like blowing air to create a 50 Pa pressure rise) but haven't heard about it.
The real problem is to choose your crack settings, forecasting what will be done on building site.
