Cooling Schedule

Dear Sir,

I am simulating a building which is conditioned (cooling only) using daily schedule of 'ON' from 21.00 to 05.00.
I set (in the activity tab) the cooling set point temperature of 26°C and cooling setback 28°C.
As the weather is very hot and humid, most often outside temperature reach 35°C.
My question is, even I set the cooling schedule as above, why the cooling machine still works between 05.00 and 21.00 ? Is it because I set the cooling setback into 28°C? If so, then how to set the cooling machine only works from 21.00 to 05.00, with temperature setting of 26°C, and cooling setback of 28°C?

Hello Rahmi,

The Cooling schedule in the HVAC tab under Cooling heading manages the cooling operation. Check it.

You are right, the setback temperature will set ON cooling if INTERNAL zone temperature goes over 28°C.

Thanks for the explanation.
Concerning my last question, how to set the cooling machine so it works from 21.00 to 05.00? Do I have to set the Cooling Setback to (for example) 40°C? (to make the cooling machine does not work between 05.00 to 21.00)
