Hi,
Is there any (user friendly) possibility to edit weather files?
I've received some real weather data from NOAA, but on a format incompatible with e+ files.
As I don't find any converter to this files I was thinking if it would be possible to edit a existing file and change the necessary data.
Best regards,

Hi Miguel,
The weather converter program that comes with EnergyPlus when you download it from the DOE web site claims to deal with any weather data format. I would recommend you use this. There is a .def file which defines the format of the input value of the hourly weather data. You can find full documentation in the Auxiliary Programs PDF document.
We will implement the general weather data conversion capability in DesignBuilder soon.

Hi Andy,
I was asking if it is possible to edit an existing file (ex: change temperatures for 7 days, or change temperatures for a all year)?
As I already told you, for me, all the solutions that can be directly provided by DB are welcome!!!
Best regards,

Hi Miguel,
...Well, you have probably guessed that the answer is that Yes it can be done, but not directly within DesignBuilder. We will be looking into expanding the DesignBuilder weather data translation and edit facility.
