Zoning without partitions

Is there a way to zone a floor without the use of partitions?
I want to assign a perimeter zone four meters off the walls, but don't want a partition diving the perimeter zone with an internal zone.
Is this possible to do?

Mirek,
You can zone the building without "accountiong" for the physial partitions. You can accomplish this by creating the partions first so that you can separate the zone at the desired distance and then converting the partitons into hole. In other words, you will draw the partition wall first and then draw the hole around the whole partion wall.
