Unitary single zone heating load

Hi,
I tried to model a building with unitary single zone.
In my first simulation I excluded mechanical ventilation. The result was as expected a large cooling load, even in winter due to high internal gains.
My second simulation I've set the mechanical ventilation outside air rate to 2 ac/h. The result is that there's no longer a cooling load in winter situation, the cold outside air is cooling the building.
But for comfort reasons the ventilation intake temperature is minimum 16°C. This means heating the ventilation air which results in a new cooling load.
Is there a better way to model this situation?

Hi Hannes,

Could you post your dsb model with the HVAC data set to show the problem with heating and cooling when including mechanical vent?
